In recent days Tanzania has been witnessing a spate of killing of Albinos. There are those among us who believe that Albino body parts bring good luck in business, therefore shallow minded, backward businesspeople are now in a killing spree of innocent Albinos.
This morning, I read about a woman who was killed and robbed of two million shillings that came from a farm sale. She was struck on the head by a blunt object after she failed to relinquish the cash to the robbers.
Last week we heard of a senior Government leader condoning "mob justice" for those who kill Albino.
All these are sad events. It seems the culture of preserving life is fast deteriorating in Tanzania. Life has now become a commodity. People are no longer feel remorseful when they take another human being life.
In my opinion our current woes are due to lack of core value, deteriorating integrity and honest.
Truth has become a rare commodity. We Tanzanians, lie to ourselves, to our families, at home and even at places of worship. Likewise, some of the people whom we have entrusted to govern are also lying to us. To make it worse, even the religious leaders are also full of lies.
For me, these killings are indications of social instability and lack of morality within our society. We urgently need to identify our core values as Tanzanians and start developing honest and integrity in our daily lives.

You are talking to the deaf ears. May be you should start preaching like Bonk that the deaf ears miraculously will re-born.

i am so sad to know life of your country and life of albinos.
I do belive that it won't bring luck to those who bring unluck to others.
albinos should be protected from being killed.
