President Jakaya Kikwete chairing the first business round table with the Government of Tanzania.I did not get the objectives of this meeting. I am not sure if this was an investment forum or "businessmen meeting the Government forum".
By looking at the picture, none of those seating at the high table is a familiar face or major investors that I know of. They could be another batch of gold diggers looking for opportunity to "rape" the country.
If I was the President, I would have sent a sector minister to this meeting. Sometime we belittle ourselves. Whatever the theme of the meeting was, it should have been left to the technical people to represent the Government.
The country needs serious investments which will add value to our economy, not gold diggers who want to take even the little we have (Picture: Mdau).

You're deadly right. Our president likes to go to petty petty functions and leaves behind his baltanion of ministers virtually redundat. Actually he is the coach -cum player,put it right president-cum minister. I would love to see him acting as president and not as prince! Like he is waiting to be crowned
